Yeah, I know: shark Fakemon - how original~ I just couldn't leave them undrawn when I got the idea.

The one on the right is the shiny form.

Evolves into Aksharmor ([link]) at level 34

Swark (saw + shark)
The Sawtooth Pokémon
Height: 3'07''
Weight: 96 lbs
Type: Steel/Water
Ability: Intimidate/Hyper Cutter
Stats: Attack > Speed > Special Attack > Defence > Special Defence

Dex Entry: It has trouble maintaining its balance while standing on its small legs, so it prefers swimming to walking. It saws up its food to pieces small enough for it to swallow.

Signature move: Slice up
- Slices the opponent with its saw. Might make the opponent flinch (20% chance).
- Type: Steel, physical attack
- Power: 80, accuracy: 100

Origin: Swark family is based on saw sharks (I bet you wouldn't have guessed that!) but instead of the chainsaw-like appendage that they have, these Fakemon have more traditional-looking saw thingies sticking out from their faces. And to go with the saws they have axes as hands/fins and wrenches as tails. I tried to make them even slightly interesting by making them someting else than blue/gray and having Swark evolve into non-water type.

oh ho, nice incorporation of various tools into the design, and the color palette/expressions looks rather cool. nice job and use of copics

Oh, I can't describe how much I love you, random stranger, for commenting instead of just faving like most people do! It's always so nice to hear what exactly it is that people like about your work and not just get the impersonal "so-and-so has added [work title] to their favourites" message~ :> So thanks a lot for the comments (and the faves, too)!
